Please note - the paper copies of the revision packets are expected to arrive in the mail to our current list of manual holders by December 23, 2016. Since some have asked about the annual revisions, we are adding the information below. Remember - if you are on our regular mailing list, you do not need to print your own revision packets.

The table below summarize the changes made with the latest revisions to the SUDAS Standard Specifications. There is also a link below that contain the entire revision packets. However,if your manual is not updated to the 2016 Edition, the revisions below will not coordinate with your manual.

4010, 2.01, F and G 5-6 Provided for additional manufacturing options. Deleted calcium aluminate, polyethylene, and coal tar epoxy from the list of sanitary sewer linings as they are no longer available.
4020, 2.01 and 3.04 3-9 Deleted cold applied bituminous or rubber rope gasket as jointing material for storm sewer RCP; added fabric wrapped joints as the default installation. Added product information for use of polypropylene pipe for storm sewer applications.
4030, 2.01-2.04 & 3.02 3-5 Minor correction. Added information for concrete pipe aprons and corrugated pipe aprons.
Figure 4030.222 through 4030.225 (new) ALL Added new figures for concrete pipe aprons and corrugated pipe aprons.
4040, 2.02, 2.05, & 2.06 3-6 Clarified that double-walled HDPE pipe is an allowable product. Added more product requirements for rodent guards. Added PVC Type B cleanout option.

8010 ALL Modified to reflect 2013 AASHTO standards.
Figure 8010.102 1-2 Modified the steel requirements in the pole foundations to reflect the new calculations for foundation design using the 2013 AASHTO standards.
Figure 8010.106 1 Changed the language from footing to foundation.
8020 (new) ALL Moved pavement markings from Division 11 to Division 8.
9 9040, 1.08, A, 2 & 3 1-4 Deleted the qualifying rainfall event inspection option since it is no longer required by the General Permit No. 2.
11 ENTIRE DIVISION ALL Updated the construction survey requirements in Section 11,010 to reflect recent legal changes. Moved the pavement markings section to Division 8 and renumbered the sections and figures that followed.
